Frýdlantské strojírny-Rasl a syn is the supplier of production lines and equipment for high-quality mineral wool insulation boards. The company is entirely Czech-owned and run as a family business. It has been active under the current name in the market since 1993, when Mr. Rasl purchased a part of the textile machinery production of Elitex enterprise, latter orienting some 80% of its activities towards the former Soviet Union, supplying textile industry machinery and equipment.
The scope of production of Frýdlantské strojírny-Rasl a syn a.s. is primarily focused on complete lines for mineral wool insulation panels production. Now, the direction of production is still oriented to the East – especially to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Business activities of the company begun after its foundation in 1988. In 1991 the company Rasl a syn a.s. was established. In two years – in 1993, the part of company ELITEX – plant Frýdlant was privatized and the new company the Frýdlantské strojírny s.r.o. – Rasl a syn was formed. In 1996 the company was transformed to joint stock company Frýdlantské strojírny – Rasl a syn a.s..
The company Frýdlantské strojírny - Rasl a syn a.s. is in possetion of EN ISO 9001:2008 certificate and DIN 6700 for welding of German railroad vehicles.
